Fabulous! Visiting from Colorado...wonderful food, the clam chowder was excellent. Our waitress, Candace was excellent..so was Debbie. We would highly recommend it and will come back again next time we are in Florida. BTW...the Lobstah roll is to die for! ;-)

I do my homework; Kelly's is the absolute best for Lobster and family dining. About a $12 cab ride from the beach. But the lobster is better and half price (2 lobsters-twins) for $26.00 compared to 45. beachside for one. I took the Mrs. there for lobster and I had the Chicken steak dinner. We had a very, very good meal!!

This small, family-owned place has been in business for 24 years. Its signature seafood is flown in twice a week from New England. Owner Debbie Skinner started as a waitress at the restaurant and gradually bought out the original owners. On a busy weekend night you'll find Skinner and her family members working the dining room. Whether you're a regular or it's your first time, it's the kind of friendly service that's rare in South Florida. Come early on Saturday night or make a reservation, because the restaurant fills quickly. You could end up outside waiting unless you can nab one of the seats at the bar, where the Red Sox game is usually on the television. While you're perusing the menu, order some of the "Best Eva" onion rings to munch on -- they live up to their billing. A half order is enough for everyone at the table to taste. The little lobster icons on the menu will guide you to the specialties. A must-have: Ipswich clams, either steamed in the shells or deep fried. We shared a plate of the fried, full-bellied clams. With a light batter, they were almost as good as the ones from New England roadside clam shacks. Another winner was sea scallops. The sweet seafood was enhanced by the preparation, baked with lemon and butter and topped with fresh breadcrumbs.

The hotel we stayed at...the Embassy Suites, recommended Kelly's Landing. We walked over from the hotel and we weren't sure what to expect, since it was in a strip mall. Once we walked in though, we loved it! Nice cozy atmosphere, great simple food and lots of sports on TV, which is our cup of tea. Would go again if we were in the area.

This is the closest to home I have found in the 20 yrs. I have lived in South Florida. The fried clams are the best and the lobsters are always fresh. Their baked beans and brown bread are fabulous. The chowder is a huge favorite for my children. My husband didn't like the style of the mussels marinara when he tried them once and the lobster rolls are not huge but other than that you really can't go wrong here. Expect a wait on the weekend but it is totally worth it!

We just received your Email for the special Father's day menu. I don't know if you remember us but we were at your incredible restaurant during our anniversary trip the last week of May. I've been wanting to write to tell you that your food is beyond description and your staff is incredible. The service was outstanding, friendly and attentive. We absolutely loved the dinner and the lunch we had. You were wonderful in sending us the artichoke dip to celebrate our anniversary. We frequently come to Ft. Lauderdale and will always return to Kelly's. Thank you so much for the wonderful dining experience. I only wish you would open a restaurant in New York.

Whenever we travel we love to find good restaurants that we haven't been to yet. This past month we found this GEM. Wondering why in an area rich with southern sea food anyone would want "Northern" style? This is by far the best we've ever had..prices reasonable food fresh not frozen made to order. Owner, Debby always there, staff wonderful...We went twice in 5 days....A must go to when in the area. Can't wait for our next trip to go back!

Great service, good food, reasonable price!! I was visiting Ft. Lauderdale and was looking for some good seafood. and since I don't know the area I took a look at Yelp.com. For some reason I kept coming back to the reviews of Kelly's Landing so I headed on over. Being a Monday night and about 45 minutes before closing I expected to be one of a few diners. Holy cow when I opened the door it was packed. I loved the place immediately! Friendly, cheerful waitresses with just enough east coast spunk. (Cat was the best) We were sat right away and I had a cold draft in my hands in no time. There was a party of 28 in the re so we were warned up front that it might be awhile. No problem... had some onion rings and chowder that were awesome. Split the twins (two 1 lb lobsters) between us and they were soooo good. Now I saw some reviews complaining about the price and I have to ask where you can have a draft beer, share a bowl of chowder and an order of onion rings and both of us have a lobster for under $55 total? (not each) I'll be back for seconds!

Start with a cup of rich and luscious New England clam chowder. And for the entree, a must is a pint of sweet, succulent, fried clams or oysters. (Trust me; If ordering the dinner plate portion, you will want more. These mollusks are addicting.) The sweet slaw is a perfect palate scrub, and the onion rings are crunchy thick delicious. Kelly's Landing is not the place for salads or vegetables. The real seafood stuff is what this gem of a place is all about. Crackerjack waitresses with hearts of gold.

Kelly's Landing is a New England seafood restaurant like none in South Florida. Being a big Yankee fan, I do not socialize in Red Sox places but Kelly's is so good that I am totally addicted. The Ipswich clams are some of the best I have ever had. The staff is friendly (( Of course I hid my Yankee charm). The food is great and I must admit the place is great. Not to mention the fabulous waitress, CAT, who was as lovely as she was efficient. This is the kind of place for REAL clam lovers. Thank you Kelly's.

WOW - what GREAT FOOD. We waited for over an hour...they has several large groups and we were a party of six. So Glad we continued waiting. I grew up in Maine as a child and this food was just like I remember it. All the food was fresh and the staff was great. Will go back again next time in Fort Lauderdale.

Just the best seafood you can get in South Florida. You feel like you are in Boston. It smells and tastes just like home. Fried Clams, haddock and lobsters are great. Chowder is creamy and tasted like clams not gooey paste. The baked beans are the best I've ever had and the brown bread is good too. Totally worth it!

If you are looking for the best seafood in town, go to Kelly's Landing. THEY HAVE THE BEST QUALITY FOOD. An all around great place, I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone.‎

I like the seafood in S. Florida, but there is nothing like Ipswich clam steamers and lightly deep fried shrimp. We moved down to Florida from Massachusetts about 2 years ago and there are little things you miss....like decent Chinese food and deep fried seafood.

This was our first trip to Kelly's Landing and not only did we like it, I would say it was BETTER than some of our favorite seafood restaurants up north. Why? Well, first they haven't fallen into the trap of trying to make fried food healthy. The steamers butter was REAL butter....not margarine, not clarified butter (butter without the flavor). Also, they change their fryer oil every day. This results in very light tasting deep fried seafood and onion rings.

In short, the food was great. The only complaint that someone might have is that the portions aren't huge. I was full, when I left, but these are not the portion sizes you might expect up north. However, I am a big believer that quality is more important than quantity.

If you have a hankering for the excellent deep fried seafood of your youth, then Kelly's Landing is the place for you.

Best New England seafood in Ft lauderdale with a casual atmosphere. Don't have to be a RedSox fan to enjoy! Clam and Lobster rolls are out of this world. Within walking distance of the cruise ships. Great Location and Great Staff! Must stop if you are in the area. They will treat you right!

I have enjoyed Kelly's for over 20 years- great food, great people. In addition to the New England seafood specialties their burgers are the best. And, the stuffed Quahog...and on and on. Great place.

I grew up in Boston but was never a fan of fried clams until I went to Kelly's Landing. Their clam roll is out of this world and the chow-duh is absolutely delish!! Service is always great. Can't wait to go back!

They also offer Broward County teachers a 20% off discount every Wednesday!

Restaurant is actually located on Cordova St - make a right off of SE 16st. Great service nice atmosphere a cozy place inside a strip mall. We had lunch the food was good but nothing special, Excellent chowder and onion rings, the service excellent, friendly relaxed place. Big Bosox fans. A nice laid back place to take the family. Prices reasonable.

When we are in Fort Lauderdale before and after our cruises, this is where we eat! We are transplanted Northerners who really miss this type of seafood. We plan our trips so we can eat lunch and dinner here before we leave and then when we return it is back to Kellys again before we leave for home the next day. We always have chowder and usually haddock cause we like it ( cannot get it in Alabama) and their clams are good also. I like to get the clam roll with a cup of chowder so I can have 2 good things to eat. The wait staff is always friendly and they seem to have a local following who sit at the bar or come in for take out. We are staying at a different hotel this year pre cruise, but already have directions printed so we can go back to Kelly's.

Stumbled on this restaurant - hard to find...make sure you go to the south side of the main road. The fried clams are almost as good as the best in the Boston area (Kelley's Roast Beef on Revere Beach). very local, friendly place. Owner knows many of the folks walking in the door. beers are good too (Harpoon IPA among others). Prices are on the high side, but for very good (whole) fried clams in this area, this restaurant can't be beat...

I've been going to Kelly's Landing for about 15 years. The food is awesome. Your not going beat the fresh lobster roll, or lobsta roll. It's mouth watering. I have yet to find anything on the menu or specials that wasn't great and well worth the money. Any time I'm in Ft. Lauderdale, I always find my way to Kelly's Landing. Well worth the trip.

I've been in Florida for 15 years - from New England - so I know my clams and I've been missing them for 15 years!

My husband and I went to Kelly's a few weeks ago because I'd read on line that they had whole belly clams (there should be no other kind). I got tears in my eyes at the first bite - the clams were so sweet and so good and it reminded me of many weekends on the cape. My husband had the baked scallops and said they were the best he's ever eaten.

Thanks Kelly's for bringing me "home" for a moment. We going back for the 'chowdah' tomorrow!!

My first night in Fort Lauderdale, eating outside of the hotel, I asked our young valets where we could get some good local seafood, with a good vibe, and they sent us here. Imagine our surprise when, being from Maine, we see a sign that says “home of the Boston Red Sox!” We enjoyed lobster, scallops and beer, all for a great price, and the staff was very kind and called us a cab with no question when we were ready to go back to the hotel! Wonderful food and experience, but for something different that didn’t feel like home, we would go somewhere else!
— TripAdvisor.com (5-30-2009)
I'm serious. This place is the best kept secret in Ft. Lauderdale. Fresh, fresh Fish. Seriously, the coldest beer in SoFla and whole belly New Engand clams and toooo many to finish. This place rocks and the price is right. However, GO YANKEES! (enough with their red soxs....)
— TripAdvisor.com (3-28-2009)
My husband says the clam chowder was actually excellent. We had an enjoyable evening at Kelly's Landing. My husband got his fill of seafood and says the fried seafood combination was very good. I had a cheeseburger which was also good. The atmosphere is causal and has Redsox and Patriots decor. Our family enjoyed it.
